This video is the first in a short series about how to make complaints in a restaurant. This week, you'll learn polite ways to ask for a replacement meal when your food is burned. It's important to know how and whether to emphasize nationalities in different situations. Take a tour through my husband's garden to learn some new words! Stop apologizing to people for not speaking perfect English! Instead, embrace (hug, accept) the fact that you're an English language learner. Don't let your mistakes stop you from improving. Get out there, and make friends who speak English. Practice English out loud by yourself. You're not going to improve as quickly or as well as you want to unless you allow yourself to make mistakes. Have you ever heard the expression "Whudja"? Watch the video to learn what it means and how to use it in a sentence! |
